He holds certifications in CISA, ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor, ISO 22301 Lead Auditor, ISO/IEC 27701, GDPR, and more. At HedgeMount Infosec, he leads the management team, overseeing the design and implementation of the company’s cybersecurity strategy.

Kapavarapu Murthy has over 19 years of experience in SOX 404/302, SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3 Readiness & Reporting, Internal Audit & Internal Control Frameworks, Cybersecurity & Technology Risk Assessments, ITGC, Application Controls & Third-Party Risk Oversight, Risk Assessment, Process Improvements & Control Design and Banking Compliance, Operational Risk & Regulatory Audits.
He has led and executed a wide range of engagements, including internal audits, compliance reviews, control testing, and large-scale governance and risk transformation initiatives for Indian and international clients.
At Hedgemount Infosec, he plays a key role in steering the Business Advisory function, advising clients on governance, risk, and compliance strategies, while strengthening the firm’s assurance and consulting capabilities.
